What the Day Looks Like
As Executive Vice President, you will spend most of your time working at our main shop floor, sitting alongside the engineers and the production crew. You’ll start the day with a quick huddle – a 15‑minute walk‑and‑talk where you’ll review the output of the previous shift and set expectations for the day. Most of the afternoon is dedicated to strategic planning – writing production schedules, reviewing cost reports, and exploring new market opportunities. In the evenings, you’ll often host a brief “open‑door” session for employees to voice concerns, share ideas or simply ask a question. Key Responsibilities
• Translate the company’s long‑term vision into concrete annual production and budgeting plans.
• Lead cross‑functional teams (engineering, procurement, quality) to optimize workflow – for instance, redesigning a 5‑day product cycle into a 3‑day sprint.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts that reduce raw‑material costs by ₹3,000,000 per annum.
• Implement Kaizen initiatives: run daily gemba walks, analyze poka‑yoke failures and propose root‑cause fixes.
• Lead the adoption of ERP software (SAP Business One) across the plant, ensuring data integrity and training staff.
Tools & Environment
The environment is a blend of a busy manufacturing plant and a collaborative office setting. You’ll regularly use high‑precision CNC routers, laser cutters, and JIRA for tracking process improvements. Our conference rooms are audio‑equipped for hybrid meetings with your offshore partners in Surat.
