We are CarePlus Home Care Services, a local family‑run agency that has been helping residents of Tura and surrounding villages for over a decade. Our mission is simple – to give every elder and disabled person the dignity and comfort they deserve in the comfort of their own homes.

As a Personal Care Aide you will spend most of your day in the homes of our clients, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping and medication reminders. You will also be the friendly face that brings a smile to a patient’s face and a sense of security to their family.

Our team is small but tight‑knit. We meet every Monday morning for a quick coffee and a chat about the week ahead. We celebrate birthdays, share stories from the field and always look out for one another. The culture here is warm, respectful and very much like a second family.

We believe in growth. Every month we hold a short training session on topics like infection control, basic first aid or how to use a blood pressure monitor. If you show enthusiasm, you can move up to a Senior Care Coordinator role or even start your own home‑care unit in the future.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Assisting clients with personal hygiene – showering, brushing teeth, grooming.
  • Preparing simple, balanced meals and helping with feeding when needed.
  • Helping clients move safely between bed, chair and toilet using a transfer belt.
  • Monitoring vital signs with a digital thermometer and blood pressure cuff.
  • Keeping a clean, tidy environment – washing linens, wiping surfaces, emptying trash.
  • Recording daily activities in a logbook and reporting any changes to the supervising nurse.

Tools you’ll use are straightforward: a reusable transfer belt, a digital thermometer, a blood pressure cuff, a basic first‑aid kit and a small set of cleaning supplies. All equipment is provided by the company and kept in a small storage room at our office.

Our office is a modest two‑story building on Main Street, Tura. The first floor houses the reception and a small kitchen where we prepare tea for the staff. The second floor is a quiet space for staff to rest, do paperwork and attend training. The environment is calm, with soft music and plenty of natural light.

We value punctuality, empathy and a positive attitude. We do not require any prior experience – we provide on‑the‑job training and a mentor will guide you through your first week. A high school diploma is sufficient, but we encourage you to keep learning and take any additional courses you can.
