What you’ll do:
- Pick up passengers from local spots like the bus stand, schools, and office parks.
- Use our in‑app navigation to find the quickest routes.
- Keep the car clean and maintain a friendly, safe environment for riders.
- Handle payments through the app and keep a small log of your trips.
Day‑to‑day life is simple. You start your shift at 8 am or 6 pm, depending on your preference. We give you a fully loaded vehicle and a smartphone with the RideShare app. You’ll get a short safety briefing each week and a quick refresher on customer service.
Team culture is all about community. We meet every Friday for a quick coffee and a chat about how we can improve the service. Everyone shares tips – like the best coffee shop near the station or how to handle a difficult passenger. We celebrate milestones: 100 rides, 200 rides, and so on.
Growth opportunities are real. After 6 months of consistent performance you can move up to a Senior Driver role, or even become a Shift Manager if you enjoy coordinating other drivers. We also offer a small bonus for drivers who maintain a 4.8+ rating.
Tools & equipment:
- Company car (Toyota Corolla or similar).
- Smartphone with the RideShare app.
- Basic first‑aid kit and a spare tire.
Environment: You’ll be on the road most of the day, but you’ll also spend time at our small office in Tiruvallur for paperwork and training. The office is a cozy 200 sq ft space with a kitchenette and a small lounge.
