As a Stock Clerk, you will be the backbone of our daily operations. Think of yourself as a mini‑logistics manager – you decide what comes in, store it safely, and ensure it goes out on time. Your day will start with a quick walk around the kitchen‑cafe area, checking the pickup of fresh produce, then moving to our big open‑plan storage where, using a simple barcode scanner, you will record every new pallet of items.
Key responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect and inventory goods from suppliers.
- Store items in the appropriate sections (dry goods, vegetables, spices, etc.) using FIFO and LIFO policies.
- Use our hand‑held barcode scanner (Model: EasyScan‑200) and quick‑books inventory software to update stock levels.
- Assist the shop manager in preparing daily sales reports.
- Help tourists and local businesses locate products in the shop.
- Keep the storage area clean and maintain safety standards.
Our team consists of 15 full‑time staff and 5 part‑time helpers. We meet every Thursday for a quick “morning coffee” meeting to share ideas, plan promotions and celebrate customer feedback. You’ll find that the office culture is relaxed – casual Fridays, shared lunches, and the occasional bhajan session in the evening.
Growth opportunities are encouraged. After the first year, you can shift into a team lead role, overseeing a small cohort of clerks. For the most diligent, we offer on‑the‑job training for advanced inventory management using enterprise software, which opens doors to warehouse manager or logistics coordinator positions.

- Open warehouse layout with ample natural light.

- Accessible storage racks; no heavy lifting beyond 20 kg.
