Your Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust modules using Java 17 or Node.js based on client specifications.
- Collaborate with the QA team to create unit and integration tests, and resolve bugs raised during internal testing.
- Maintain clear, concise project documentation and give presentations to stakeholders.
- Assist senior engineers in troubleshooting production incidents; learn how to use monitoring tools like Grafana and New Relic.
- Participate in weekly sprint planning and retrospectives, actively suggesting process improvements.
Tools & Equipment
Our typical tech stack includes: VS Code, IntelliJ IDEA, Git (GitHub), Jira for project tracking, Docker for containerization, and Linux servers. You’ll also have access to a shared server lab to experiment and prototype. We provide company laptops (Dell XPS 13 or equivalent) and phone allowances for field meetings.
Working Environment
While most of your time will be spent in our open office, we also schedule occasional offsite days in the nearby Kanyakumari beaches for team bonding. If your project needs field data collection, you’ll be in a local shop or client office – a great way to understand the ground realities of Tamil Nadu’s growing tech ecosystem.
