We are TechWave Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a growing software house based in the heart of Ponda, Goa. We build web and mobile solutions for local businesses and a few national clients. Day‑to‑day, you will join our 8‑hour workday from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm. We start with a quick stand‑up where everyone shares what they worked on yesterday and what they plan to tackle today. Then you dive into coding, testing, and collaborating with designers and product managers. We use GitHub for version control, Jira for task tracking, and Slack for quick chats. Our office is a cozy space with a whiteboard, a couple of bean‑bag chairs, and a coffee machine that never runs out of filter coffee.
Team culture is relaxed but focused. We celebrate small wins with a Friday “code‑and‑cake” session, and we have a monthly hackathon where you can experiment with new ideas. Growth opportunities are real. You start as a Software Executive, writing clean code and fixing bugs. After 6 months, you may lead a small feature team, mentor interns, or take on a product owner role. Responsibilities include:
- Developing new features for our flagship e‑commerce platform using React and Node.js.
- Writing unit tests with Jest and ensuring code quality with ESLint.
- Collaborating with the QA team to resolve bugs and improve test coverage.
- Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback.
- Helping junior developers understand best practices and debugging techniques.
Tools and equipment you’ll use: a Dell XPS 13 laptop (we provide a laptop if you prefer), a high‑resolution monitor, a comfortable ergonomic chair, and a fast Wi‑Fi connection. We also provide a stipend for a monthly internet plan if you work from home.
Environment: Our office is located on Main Street, Ponda, with easy access to local eateries and a short walk to the bus stop. The building is a two‑storey brick structure with a small garden on the roof where you can relax during breaks. The office is open‑plan, but we have a quiet corner for focused work.
