GreenCycle Pvt. Ltd. is a local recycling company based in Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli. We are on a mission to make our town greener and cleaner, and we need a dedicated Recycling Collector to join our team. Every day you will start early in the morning, grab your helmet and gloves, and head out to the neighbourhoods. You will collect recyclable waste from households, sort items into plastic, paper, glass and metal bins, and load them onto our small truck. For example, you might pick up a 20‑kg bag of plastic bottles from a local shop, then walk to the collection point and hand it over to the driver. You will also keep track of the quantity of each material and fill out a simple log sheet at the end of the shift.
Our team is small but tight‑knit. We meet every Friday for a quick debrief, share ideas on how to improve collection routes, and celebrate the progress we make. We value honesty, punctuality and a can‑do attitude. You will work closely with a supervisor and a few other collectors, and you will have the chance to learn from their experience. We also organise occasional team outings to local parks or community events.
There are plenty of chances to grow. After a few months you could become a senior collector, leading a small crew and planning routes. You could also move into a supervisory role, managing schedules and training new hires. We provide on‑the‑job training and support, and we encourage you to attend local workshops on waste management and sustainability.
We provide all the necessary tools: a sturdy wheelbarrow, a bagging machine, safety gloves, a helmet and a reflective vest. The work is mainly field‑based, but you will also spend a few hours at our small office in the evening to submit reports and discuss the next day’s plan. The environment is friendly, and the weather in Silvassa is usually warm, so you’ll need to stay hydrated and wear light clothing.
