What a Typical Day Looks Like
Every morning starts with a quick stand‑up in our open‑plan office. We discuss the day’s priorities, share any blockers, and celebrate small wins. After that, you’ll dive into data pipelines, clean raw data, and build dashboards that our clients can use to track sales, inventory, and customer sentiment. We use tools like Hadoop, Spark, Python, SQL, and Tableau. You’ll also spend time on cloud platforms – mainly AWS – to deploy and monitor our data services.

Growth Opportunities
We believe in promoting from within. As a Big Data Executive, you’ll start by handling data ingestion and ETL tasks. After 6–12 months, you can move into data architecture, leading projects, or mentoring junior analysts. We also offer paid training in advanced analytics, machine learning, and cloud certifications.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Hadoop and Spark.
- Clean and transform raw data from multiple sources into usable formats.
- Develop interactive dashboards in Tableau for clients in retail, agriculture, and tourism.
- Collaborate with the software team to integrate data services into our web platform.
- Monitor data quality and troubleshoot issues in real time.
- Document processes and create user guides for non‑technical stakeholders.
Tools & Equipment
We provide a laptop with dual‑core CPU, 8GB RAM, and 256GB SSD. You’ll also get access to our AWS account, a dedicated Hadoop cluster, and a Tableau license. For remote work, we support VPN and secure access to our internal tools.
Work Environment
Our office is located on Main Street, Melli, in a renovated colonial building. It has a bright open‑plan layout, a small kitchen, and a cozy lounge area. The building is close to the local market and the bus stop, making commuting easy. We also allow flexible hours and occasional remote days.
