What a typical day looks like
- Start the day by checking the vehicle’s oil, tyre pressure, and cleanliness.
- Pick up clients from their homes or offices and drive them to hospitals, schools, or business meetings.
- Maintain a friendly conversation with passengers, ensuring they feel comfortable and safe.
- Handle small errands like grocery runs or picking up parcels for the office.
- End the day by refilling the fuel tank, cleaning the interior, and logging any maintenance issues.

Responsibilities explained with real examples
• Safe driving – You’ll be expected to follow all traffic rules and keep a safe distance from other vehicles. For instance, when a client needs to reach a hospital in an hour, you’ll plan the quickest route while avoiding heavy traffic.
• Customer service – If a passenger is nervous about a long journey, you’ll calm them by explaining the route and offering a playlist or a small snack.
• Vehicle upkeep – You’ll check the car’s dashboard lights every morning and report any issues to the workshop. If the brake pads need replacement, you’ll schedule a visit to the local mechanic.
Tools and equipment
• A reliable sedan or SUV (currently a 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga).
• GPS navigation system and a mobile phone for communication.
• Basic first‑aid kit and a small toolkit for minor repairs.
Environment
Work is field‑based. You’ll spend most of your time on the roads of Sagar and nearby villages. The office is a small, open‑plan space where we plan routes and discuss any issues. The work hours are 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional late‑night trips if a client needs it.
