We are looking for a Risk Executive to join our team in Kangpokpi. The role is very important for our daily operations and helps us keep our clients safe and our business running smoothly.
Our office is a small, open‑plan space on Main Road, with a few desks, a whiteboard, and a coffee machine that everyone loves. We work from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, with a short lunch break at 1:00 p.m. The team is small – about 12 people – so you’ll get to know everyone quickly and have a real say in how we do things.
Day‑to‑day life
- Start the day by checking the risk dashboard and reviewing any overnight alerts.
- Meet with the underwriting team to discuss new policies and potential risks.
- Prepare risk assessment reports for senior management.
- Attend a weekly risk review meeting where we talk about trends and share ideas.
- Finish the day by updating the risk register and sending a quick email to the team.
We use tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and a custom risk management software called RiskTrack. You’ll also get to use a few field tools – like a handheld scanner for on‑site inspections – if you’re comfortable with that.

Responsibilities (real examples)
- Analyse a new property insurance policy and identify potential fire or flood risks. For example, you might flag a building that is close to a river and recommend a higher premium.
- Conduct field visits to assess the condition of a commercial building. You’ll use a handheld scanner to capture photos and notes, then upload them to RiskTrack.
- Create a monthly risk report for the senior manager, summarising key findings and suggesting mitigation steps.
- Collaborate with the claims team to review past claims and identify patterns that could indicate fraud.
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, can work well in a small team, and is comfortable using both spreadsheets and field tools. If you have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, that’s a plus, but we also welcome people with a Master’s degree who want to start their career in risk management.
