Welcome to Mountain Logistics Pvt. Ltd., a family‑run logistics company that has been serving the beautiful hills of Uttarakhand for over 15 years. We are located in the heart of Ranikhet, right next to the main market and a short walk from the local school. Our warehouse is a cozy 2000 sq. ft. space where we store and distribute goods to nearby towns and villages.
We are looking for a Forklift Operator to join our team. If you are a friendly, reliable person who loves working outdoors and can lift heavy loads safely, you might be the perfect fit.
What a typical day looks like:
- Start the shift by checking the forklift’s oil level, tire pressure and safety lights.
- Load 20–30 pallets of goods onto the truck, making sure each pallet is balanced and secured.
- Unload deliveries from the truck and place them in the correct storage area.
- Keep the loading dock clean and report any damaged goods to the supervisor.
- Fill out a simple log sheet at the end of the shift.
We use a Toyota 8-ton forklift and a pallet jack for lighter tasks. Safety gear includes a hard hat, high‑visibility vest, steel‑toe boots and gloves. We provide all the equipment and a short safety training course before you start.
Team culture
Our crew is small – about 12 people – so everyone knows each other’s names. We celebrate local festivals together, share lunch, and help each other on busy days. The manager is always open to suggestions and values punctuality and honesty.
Growth opportunities
After six months of good performance, you can become a Senior Forklift Operator and start supervising new hires. We also offer a safety certification course that can lead to a safety officer role. If you enjoy learning, we can help you get a diploma in logistics or supply chain management.
