About the Role

What a Typical Day Looks Like
Every morning you’ll start with a quick huddle in the office, where we share the day’s targets and any new quality alerts. Then you head to the production floor – a 200‑square‑meter workshop where our team assembles electronic components. You’ll walk the line, inspect parts with a caliper and micrometer, and run quick visual checks on finished products. If you spot a defect, you log it in our simple QMS (a custom Excel sheet that syncs with SAP Quality) and flag it to the supervisor.

Responsibilities (Real Examples)
- Inspect incoming raw materials for dimensional accuracy – e.g., checking that a metal plate is within ±0.2 mm tolerance.
- Run functional tests on assembled units – for instance, powering a device and verifying it meets the 3‑second startup time.
- Document defects in the QMS, categorize them (surface scratch, misalignment, electrical fault), and calculate defect rates.
- Collaborate with the production team to set up a quick visual checklist that reduces inspection time by 15%.
- Prepare weekly quality reports for the plant manager, highlighting trends and recommending corrective actions.
Tools & Equipment
We use standard inspection tools: calipers, micrometers, a digital multimeter, and a handheld spectrometer for surface analysis. For data entry, you’ll work with a custom Excel‑based QMS that syncs with SAP Quality. Basic office software (Word, PowerPoint) is also used for reporting.
Work Environment
The job is based in our office on the first floor of a two‑story building in Kharar. The second floor houses the production line, so you’ll spend most of your time in a warm, well‑ventilated workshop. The office has a small break area with a fridge and a tea station – perfect for quick chats.
