We specialise in organising live music, theatre and cultural festivals for the local community and tourists alike. We are looking for an enthusiastic Entertainment Executive to join our small but dynamic team.
Day‑to‑day, you will be the glue that holds our events together. From the moment we start planning a concert to the final curtain call, you will coordinate with artists, vendors, and the local authorities. You will also manage our social media channels, create promotional material and keep the team updated on timelines and budgets.
Our office is a cosy studio on Beach Road, just a short walk from the sea. The environment is relaxed but focused – we work in a small open‑plan space with a few desks, a whiteboard, and a projector. We use tools like Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing, Microsoft Office for spreadsheets, and Google Workspace for collaboration. Zoom and WhatsApp are our go‑to communication channels for quick check‑ins.
Team culture at Sunset is all about collaboration and creativity. We have weekly “brainstorm” sessions where everyone can pitch ideas, and we celebrate small wins with a potluck lunch. We value punctuality, but we also understand that live events can be unpredictable, so flexibility is key.
Growth opportunities are plentiful. You will receive on‑the‑job training in event management, digital marketing and budgeting. As you gain experience, you can move into senior roles such as Event Manager or Marketing Lead. We also encourage you to attend workshops and local industry meet‑ups.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and scheduling local music and theatre events.
- Coordinating with artists, sound engineers, and stage crew.
- Managing budgets and ensuring cost‑effective vendor contracts.
- Creating and posting engaging content on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- Handling on‑site logistics during events.
- Collecting feedback and preparing post‑event reports.
We are looking for someone who can juggle multiple tasks, has a keen eye for detail, and loves the energy of live entertainment. A background in high school or higher is preferred, but we value passion and a willingness to learn above formal qualifications.
