We are Bright Sparks Electrical Services, a family‑run company that has been lighting up homes and small businesses in Pasighat for over 15 years. We are looking for an Apprentice Electrician to join our team and learn the ropes in a friendly, hands‑on environment.
Day‑to‑day, you will spend most of your time in our workshop and on the field. Every morning we gather for a quick huddle, share the day’s schedule, and check the safety gear. You’ll help with wiring, installing LED fixtures, and troubleshooting small electrical faults in houses and shops. We use basic tools like wire strippers, multimeters, and a portable drill, and we’ll teach you how to use them safely.
Our team culture is simple: respect, teamwork, and a willingness to learn. We have a senior electrician who mentors new hires, and we celebrate small wins with a cup of tea and a story from the day. We also have a monthly “skill‑share” session where everyone can show a trick they’ve learned.
Growth opportunities are real. After 6 months of consistent work, you can move into a junior electrician role, handling more complex installations. We also offer a stipend for any certification courses you want to pursue, such as the National Board of Technical Education (NBTE) electrician certificate.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the installation of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Reading and interpreting simple electrical diagrams.
- Testing circuits with a multimeter and ensuring they meet safety standards.
- Keeping the workshop tidy and tools organized.
- Helping customers with basic electrical advice and troubleshooting.
We work in a small workshop that is close to the town’s main market. The environment is warm, with a mix of old wooden tables and modern safety equipment. You’ll also spend time on the road, visiting clients in nearby villages, which gives you a chance to see how electricity powers everyday life in Arunachal Pradesh.
We offer a competitive monthly salary of ₹15,000 to ₹25,000, depending on experience and performance. The job is full‑time, 40 hours a week, with a 10‑minute break for tea each day. We provide a safety kit, a company uniform, and a company phone for work calls.
