Greetings from GreenHarvest Logistics! We’re a mid‑sized warehouse in the heart of Rupnagar, Punjab that specialises in farm produce distribution. Every day, we load, move and track thousands of cartons so that fresh vegetables reach markets across the region. We’re looking for a friendly, safety‑first Pallet Jack Operator to join our tight‑knit team.
What a day looks like for you
- 18:30 – 19:00: Arrive, grab a cup of chai, and do a quick walk‑through of the loading area. We keep the shop clean; if you spot a spill, just shout it out and we’ll tackle it together.
- 19:00 – 21:30: Move pallets of tomatoes and onions from the receiving dock to the cold‑storage racks. You will use a steel‑frame pallet jack; we’ll train you on the controls and safety lines.
- 21:30 – 22:00: Check the pallet jack for wear, add a quick oil and accident report. Our quality team loves a tidy pulley.
- Evening shift ends at 22:30 – we hand over to the night guard, who does a final inventory sweep.
We run on a simple system: 8‑hour shifts, a rest break at 2 hours, and a 15‑minute “tea‑time” at 4 hours. You’ll get to practice operating a pallet jack in a controlled, outdoor environment – no crazy heights, just the real work that keeps the fields fresh on the shelves.

Room for growth
We start you at a junior operator role, and after three months of good performance you can become a Senior Operator or even manage a small crew of pallet jacks. Training in forklift operation and inventory software is forthcoming for those interested – no extra cost to you.
Tools and equipment
- Standard 12‑hp electric pallet jack – maintained by our in‑house maintenance squad.
- Chain safety harness and hand‑held radio for communication.
- HR software for clock‑in/out, basic reports and payroll (our software is a local favorite).
Environment
Open outdoor warehouse with a 1m high wall for peripheral safety. Wind is strong in the mornings, so we keep lockers full of jackets. We never run the pallet jack in the rain; you’ll have a fall‑sheet and a team ready to help.
We want someone who is practical, honest, and a quick learner. No formal education is required, except a mandatorily basic work‑place safety module that we provide. If you are patient, punctual and love moving goods, reach out – we’re ready to meet you.
