What a typical day looks like
- Morning briefing at 8:00 am – we review the night’s incidents and plan patrol routes.
- Field patrols – you’ll walk the perimeter of the resort, check CCTV feeds, and respond to any alarms.
- Mid‑day check‑in – report any suspicious activity to the control room and update the logbook.
- Evening debrief – share observations with the night shift and help them prepare for the next day.
We work in a mix of office and field environments. The office is a small, friendly space with a coffee machine that keeps us going. The field is the scenic trails and hotel grounds – you’ll get to see the sunrise over the Pir Panjal range.

Responsibilities (real examples)
- Respond to a fire alarm at the guest house – coordinate with the fire brigade and evacuate guests safely.
- Detect a suspicious package near the parking lot – notify the control room, secure the area, and document the incident.
- Maintain the CCTV system – check camera angles, replace batteries, and upload footage to the cloud.
- Assist in the annual security audit – prepare reports, answer questions from auditors, and implement their recommendations.
Tools & equipment
We provide you with a mobile radio, a digital logbook, a basic first‑aid kit, and a company badge. For CCTV work, you’ll use our standard software – it’s user‑friendly and runs on a laptop we supply.
Environment
Work is split between a small office in the town center and the resort’s perimeter. The office is warm and has a small kitchen. The field is open, with occasional rain – we provide waterproof jackets and sturdy boots.
