Your Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Imagine this: a 72‑year‑old patient arrives with a fractured hip. You check the patient log, ensure the X‑ray has been done, confirm the surgery schedule and inform the ortho team. After the procedure, you monitor vital signs, explain medication plans to the patient’s family and update the medical record. Each step showcases the skill set we’re looking for – caring, organized, and proactive.
- Manage patient admission, discharge and transfer processes.
- Lead a team of 4–6 junior nurses on your ward, providing mentorship and support.
- Co‑ordinate with the pharmacy to ensure timely medication delivery.
- Maintain accurate nursing charts and hospital information system entries.
- Perform and supervise basic medical procedures (IV insertion, wound dressing, etc.).
Tools & Equipment
You’ll work with standard hospital equipment such as electronic health records (EHR), vital‑sign monitors and basic surgical instruments. We also use the island’s preferred mobile health app for real‑time updates.
The Environment
Our facility blends a small, well‑equipped ward with a patient‑focused outpatient clinic. The climate is warm and humid, so make sure you’re ready for a tropical workday. We keep the workspace clean, with all necessary PPE readily available.
What We Offer
- Competitive monthly salary of INR 25,000 – 35,000.
