As a Barista, you’ll start your day by setting up the espresso machine, grinding beans, and checking the milk frother. During the morning rush, you’ll greet customers, take orders, and pull shots with a smile. In the afternoon, you’ll help keep the shop clean, restock supplies, and maybe even suggest a new latte art design. You’ll learn to read the coffee menu, recommend drinks, and handle cash or card payments.
Our team works in a relaxed, open‑plan shop that feels more like a community hub than a workplace. We share stories over a pot of tea, celebrate birthdays, and help each other during busy festivals. Everyone is encouraged to bring ideas – whether it’s a new seasonal drink or a better way to organize the grinder. We value punctuality, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
We believe in growing together. New hires get a week of hands‑on training, followed by monthly skill‑up sessions on latte art, espresso extraction, and customer service. After a few months, you can move into a shift‑lead role, help train new baristas, or even start a small coffee‑tasting workshop for locals. We also support you to attend regional coffee festivals or online courses if you’re interested.
Tools and equipment you’ll use include a commercial espresso machine, a bean grinder, a milk frother, a POS system, and a small inventory of beans sourced from nearby farms. The shop is a bright, airy space with a mix of wooden tables and local art. You’ll work in a warm environment, with a friendly manager who checks in regularly and a supportive team that’s always ready to lend a hand.
