ABC Trading Pvt. Ltd. is a fast growing retail and wholesale company based in Unnao. We sell a wide range of household goods, textiles and small appliances across the state. We are looking for a National Sales Executive to join our sales team and help us reach new customers.
What a typical day looks like: You start the day by checking your sales dashboard on our CRM (HubSpot). You then call a few prospects that you have identified from the lead list. After that you visit a few local shops in the morning to demo our new product line. In the afternoon you meet with the regional manager to discuss the sales targets and share feedback from the field. Evenings are usually spent updating the CRM and preparing the next day’s plan.
Team culture: We are a small team of 12 people. Everyone knows each other’s names and we celebrate small wins together. We have weekly “sales huddles” where we share tips and tricks. The boss is very approachable and encourages open communication. We also have a monthly “fun day” where we go to a nearby park or watch a movie together.
Growth opportunities: We believe in promoting from within. After 6 months you can become a Senior Sales Executive, and after 2 years you can move into a regional manager role. We also provide training on product knowledge, negotiation skills and digital marketing. You will get a chance to travel to different districts and learn how to sell in varied markets.
Responsibilities: • Identify and qualify new leads in the state. • Conduct product demos in local shops and showrooms. • Negotiate prices and close deals with shop owners. • Maintain accurate records in the CRM. • Meet monthly sales targets and report progress to the manager. • Provide feedback on market trends and competitor activity. For example, if a competitor launches a new discount scheme, you will inform the team so we can adjust our pricing strategy.
Tools & equipment: • Laptop with internet access. • Mobile phone (company provided). • CRM software (HubSpot). • Company vehicle for field visits (available on request). • Sales kit with product samples and brochures.
Environment: The office is located in the heart of Unnao on Main Market Road. It is a small, open-plan space with a kitchen area where we share coffee and snacks. The field work is done in the local shops, markets and small retail outlets. You will spend most of your time on the road, but you will also have a comfortable office to plan and review your work.
