Warehouse Associate - Nagercoil Job in Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu

We are GreenPack Logistics, a growing regional player in the logistics sector, based in the heart of Nagercoil. We handle last‑mile deliveries for a range of retailers and local businesses, and we are looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our day‑to‑day team.
What you’ll do
- Receive incoming goods, verify against invoices, and record items in our inventory system. The first week you’ll sit down with a senior picker and shadow him as he scans barcodes with our handheld devices.
- Move pallets using pallet jacks and forklifts. We provide full training and safety certification, and the job comes with a small overtime bonus if you finish a shift before 18:30.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse – sweep, mop, and keep our aisles clear so the team can move fast.
- Assist in packaging and preparing orders for dispatch. You’ll learn how to choose the right packing material, label boxes correctly, and load trucks efficiently.
- Help with inventory checks once a month and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
Our culture is simple – we value honesty, hard work, and a sense of ownership. You’ll work with a small group of 8–12 people, all of whom have been with the company for at least a year. We hold a quick huddle every morning to outline targets and a team lunch once a month on a local food truck outside the warehouse.
Growth opportunities are real; after 6 months you can apply for the role of Senior Picker or become a forklift instructor. We also offer paid certification courses in safety and supply‑chain basics.
Environment & Tools
- Climate‑controlled warehouse (22°C – 26°C)

Daily life here is straightforward. The shift starts at 08:00 and ends at 18:00, with a 1‑hour lunch break. We do not ask you to work on holidays; if you need to cover a day, we’ll compensate with bonus pay or a shift swap. We celebrate birthdays and company anniversaries, and the office has a small fridge where team members leave snacks for each other.
We welcome people with high‑school education or equivalent, and no prior warehouse experience is required – we simply need someone who can follow instructions, stay alert, and keep up with a brisk pace.
