What Happens in a Typical Day?
- Morning briefing with the shop manager – review sales targets, plan the day, and spot any stock issues.
- Interact with customers in a warm, welcoming manner – explain product features, suggest complementary items, and upsell premium pieces.
- Update the inventory system (we use a simple Microsoft Access database) and place orders for out‑of‑stock items.
- At the end of the shift, conduct a quick tidy‑up, set up the display for tomorrow, and file any returns or gift cards.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service – greet shoppers, answer queries, and create personalised shopping experiences.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards – arrange displays, rotate stock, and ensure signage is crisp.
- Process sales using our point‑of‑sale (POS) system (Square) and handle cash, credit, and gift‑card transactions accurately.
- Assist with inventory audits – count stock, check expiry dates on jewellery, and report discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote new arrivals on social media and local radio ads.

- Standard office supplies – notebooks, pens, a laptop for email
- Uniform – a simple branded apron, comfortable shoes, and a name tag.

What We Look For
- Good communication skills – you should be comfortable speaking in both English and Mizo.
- Sense of style and keen eye for luxury items – you should know what makes a piece special.
- Reliability and punctuality – we start the day at 9 a.m., so be ready.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
Salary & Perks
- Monthly base salary: ₹50,000 – ₹80,000
- Commission on sales – typically 3% of the sale above ₹10,000.
- Annual performance bonus.
- Company uniform and expense allowance for local travel.
