What a typical day looks like
At 6:30 am you’ll start by checking the overnight load manifest on the shop’s old but reliable https://tfsb-drivers Excel sheet. Key Responsibilities (real examples)
- Manifest Check: Review the day‑ahead plan, spot missing pallets and flag them to the driver before 8 am.
- Route Planning: Use the handheld flashlight‑like scanner, produce a 45‑minute flight map and adjust if a road gets closed.
- Contingency Handling: If a truck breaks down, you’ll coordinate a backup from the nearest station and inform the customer timely.
- Documentation: Record trip logs, return delivery receipts, and discharge invoices on the shared Google Sheet.
- Vendor Coordination: Call local farmers and negotiate pickup terms, ensuring we never run out of seasonal goods.

Environment
Office located at the back of the main shop, with a small pantry that provides homemade tea. You’ll spend half your time in the bright, dusty office and half in the field, loading and unloading goods along the winding roads of Ladakh.
