Day‑to‑Day Life
As a Delivery Agent, you’ll start your day by checking the dispatch list that arrives at 8:30 am. The list contains a mix of same‑day parcel deliveries, quick pick‑ups for local businesses and a few special grocery orders for senior citizens. Each morning you’ll have a quick huddle with the operations manager at the office, plan the route on the company’s mobile app, and grab fresh tea at the little stall across the street. On the road, you’ll ride a 125 cc scooter or 4‑wheel auto, depending on the load, and treat each package like a gift you’re handing over to a friend.

Growth Opportunities
Starting as a Delivery Agent gives you on‑the‑job exposure to customer service, logistics and field operations. After 6 months, you can apply to be a Route Supervisor, overseeing a small team of 3‑5 agents. With a strong performance record, you could later step into a Dispatch Coordinator role, where you manage the whole daily schedule and train new recruits. The company also offers optional entrepreneurship training for agents who want to start their own drop‑off hub.
Your Responsibilities
- Pick up parcels from local offices and customer homes, ensuring packages are handled with care.
- Deliver goods promptly, keeping the company’s customer‑first policy in mind (e.g., a quick detour to deliver a booked medicine to a patient in Rayagada).
- Use the company’s dedicated mobile app to scan barcodes, record delivery times, and update statuses in real time.
- Maintain the cleanliness and fuel level of your assigned scooter or auto, and report any mechanical issues to the service team.
- Provide courteous service: hand over parcels, collect signatures, and answer simple queries such as package weight or delivery time.

• Company‑issued rider kit: 125 cc scooter/auto, helmet, gloves, rain gear
• Smart phone with Speedy Courier’s mobile app (Android only)
• Digital weighing scale (for heavy packages)
• Standard delivery slips and receipt printer at the office
Work Environment
You’ll be based in the bustling office of our Koraput hub, which is just a 5‑minute walk from the town bus stop. The office is open‑plan with a few quiet corners for brief calls while you’re on the road. Still, much of your work will be outdoors, riding the familiar roads of the local market area and the windy coastal lanes near Chandrasekharpur.
