What a typical day looks like
- Morning stand‑up with the HR team – we share updates, discuss hiring needs and any employee concerns.
- Screening resumes and scheduling interviews for our software developers and support staff.
- Updating employee records in our HRIS (we use BambooHR) and preparing onboarding packets.
- Planning a monthly wellness activity – last month we organised a yoga session in the office courtyard.
- Answering employee queries via email or chat – we keep the response time under 24 hours.

Key responsibilities
- Recruitment – post job ads, screen CVs, conduct phone screens and coordinate onsite interviews.
- Onboarding – prepare offer letters, organise orientation sessions and ensure new hires have all necessary equipment.
- Employee relations – handle grievances, mediate conflicts and maintain a positive workplace culture.
- Payroll support – work with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursement.
- HRIS maintenance – keep employee data up to date and generate reports for management.
Tools & equipment
We use BambooHR for HRIS, Google Workspace for communication, and a simple laptop with a headset for video calls. You will also have access to a company phone and a small budget for training materials.
Environment
The office is located in the heart of Pasighat, close to the local market and a few schools. It’s a small, open‑plan space with natural light, a few plants and a quiet corner for focused work. The building is air‑conditioned, but we keep the windows open on sunny days to enjoy the fresh mountain air.
