We are Goa Fresh Foods Pvt Ltd, a family‑run brand that has been turning fresh produce into tasty meals for over 15 years. We are looking for a Chief Executive Officer who can keep our small but vibrant team moving forward.
Day‑to‑day, you will be in the kitchen, the office, and on the road. Every morning we start with a quick huddle at the office, followed by a walk to the local market to check the quality of the produce. You’ll be the one who decides which suppliers to keep, which new recipes to test, and how to keep the kitchen humming. The office is a cozy space with a few desks, a big whiteboard, and a coffee machine that never runs out of beans.
Team culture is all about trust and open communication. We have a flat hierarchy – everyone from the chef to the delivery driver can share ideas. We celebrate small wins with a potluck lunch and a weekly “idea box” where anyone can drop a suggestion. You’ll be expected to lead by example, showing how to balance quality, cost, and customer happiness.
Growth opportunities are real. We are expanding into the nearby towns of Mapusa and Margao, and you will be the one to design the rollout strategy. You’ll also mentor the next generation of managers, giving them hands‑on experience in budgeting, marketing, and supply‑chain management.
Responsibilities include:
- Setting the company vision and ensuring it aligns with local market needs.
- Overseeing daily operations – from procurement to delivery.
- Managing a team of 15 people, including chefs, marketers, and drivers.
- Analyzing sales data and adjusting strategies to meet targets.
- Representing the company at local business forums and farmer meetings.
Tools and equipment you’ll use: a laptop with Microsoft Office, a smartphone for communication, a basic POS system for sales, and a simple inventory spreadsheet. We also use a shared Google Drive for all documents.
The environment is a mix of office and field. The office is located in a small building on Main Road, but you’ll spend a lot of time in the fields, at the market stalls, and on the road delivering fresh produce to local restaurants.
We offer a competitive salary of ₹200,000 to ₹350,000 per month, depending on experience. In addition, you’ll receive a performance bonus, health insurance, and a company car for official use.
