You’ll also maintain a log file, note any breakdowns, and write a brief report for the manager. The job is not boring; you’ll have to react on the spot if a vehicle breaks down during a shipment or if a delivery schedule changes because of an unexpected road closure. In those moments, you’ll coordinate with the driver, reroute, and keep the client updated via text or a quick phone call.
