About The Role
Ever wondered how shops tick? Our little shop in Daman takes pride in customer experience, and we need keen observers to help us stay on top. As a Mystery Shopper, you’ll visit our stores, cafes and kiosks from behind the scenes, noting how friendly staff are, how clean the space looks, and how quickly orders are served. You’ll report in simple, honest terms.
Day‑to‑Day Life
On most days, you’ll be on the move. You’ll start your shift at 9 AM, visit a breakfast joint in the morning, drop by a boutique around noon, and finish at a street stall in the evening. Each visit lasts 30‑60 minutes, and you’ll return with a short report on a handy phone app. Most of the time, you’ll be in a bustling marketplace or a quiet corner shop, filled with aromas of spices and the chatter of shoppers.
Team Culture
We’re a small team of four, but we think big! We meet weekly over lunch to review findings and plan next steps. The vibe is relaxed; team members often share personal stories and local gossip. We believe in feedback and growth – every report is a learning tool for the shopkeepers and the team.
Growth Opportunities
For those who love data and service, this role can evolve into a Customer Experience Analyst, a Retail Consultant, or even a Store Manager. We provide training workshops on observation techniques and report writing. Your insights could shape our expansion into neighbouring towns.
Your Responsibilities
- Visit 2–4 stores each week, keeping observations discreet.
- Document staff friendliness, product availability, cleanliness, and transaction speed.
- Rate each visit on a 1‑10 scale and write a concise, honest narrative.
- Submit reports via the mobile app by 7 PM each day.
- Attend a monthly team meeting to discuss trends and improvement ideas.
Tools & Environment
You’ll use a simple smartphone with our proprietary app, a small notebook for quick jotting, and a reliable data‑plan. All work is field‑based – there’s no office, just the vibrant streets of Daman and the cozy corners of its shops.
Requirements
We welcome anyone who loves people and pays attention to detail. No prior experience is mandatory, but a friendly attitude and honesty are must‑haves. A high school diploma is preferred but not required – we’ll provide training.
