We’re looking for a friendly and energetic Development Executive to be our new face in town. You’ll work from our modern office on Hallberg Salt Lake road and meet clients in the neighbourhood shops, magazines, and local co‑working spaces.
Every morning our team starts with a quick 10‑minute huddle in the lounge, followed by a short 30‑minute stand‑up meeting that keeps everyone on the same page. After that, it’s time for the real action – walking through local businesses, chatting with shop owners, and presenting our software package that can help them take their store to the next step. We believe in learning by doing, so you’ll be shadowing a senior executive for the first week, then on your own with real targets. You’ll get access to a laptop, a smartphone, a citron professionally branded badge and all the marketing materials you need to pitch our offers.

We have quarterly outings to the Gurudwara or a simple picnic in the nearby river stretch, and every year we organise a “product launch fiesta” where the whole town gets invited. What’s in it for you? You’ll start with a modest monthly 40,000 ₹ base salary, with 10–15% of your sales commissions added each month – straight‑forward, no NIMIC curveballs. You’ll have full access to professional development workshops — both online and live‑in‑Chandigarh — covering lead generation, closing skills, and basic coding for 2‑page websites so that you can offer much more value to clients. Once you hit your targets for 6 months consecutive, you’ll be eligible for a promotion to Lead Development Executive, which brings more autonomy, higher commission rates and the chance to mentor newer staff.
Responsibilities (your day‑to‑day, actually):
• Visit at least 8 local shops (retail, cafés, tuition centres) each day to understand their pain points and showcase our supply‑chain optimisation tool.
• Prepare and deliver a 10‑minute product demo in a friendly, jargon‑free style; use our demo laptopt within the office and sometimes in the client’s shop.
• Follow up on prospects via phone, WhatsApp or an SMS campaign using our in‑house CRM (HubSpot clone).
• Record all customer interactions in the CRM and report weekly metrics – sales closed, pipeline value, follow‑up rate.
• Coordinate product deliveries and hand over documentation to the after‑sales support team.
• Work closely with the marketing officer to pick out the next 3 local businesses that need digital payment options and design a small marketing push.
Tools and equipment you’ll be working with include –:
- Windows laptop – Lenovo IdeaPad 3 (8GB RAM, 256 GB SSD)
- Smartphone – Android 13 (Google Pixel 7)
- CRM – Custom built on Salesforce Lightning (lightweight)
- Email – Outlook 365 team mailbox
- Marketing – Canva (templates for flyers), WhatsApp Business
Work Environment – You will always be in the office unless you’re client‑visiting. The office is a 2‑storey brick building with a modern HR desk, a clean kitchen, a quick‑coffee corner and a small meeting room that looks out on the local park. We keep it open 7 am to 8 pm, so you can work late into the evening if you’re chasing a saturday client. Being the first hire of the year, you’ll have direct access to the business owner and a mentor who has 10+ years of experience in rural marketing.
