Brokerage Executive Job in Tuensang, Nagaland

Lush Inits Ltd.

We are Lush Inits Ltd., a family‑run investment firm that bridges local farmers and market traders across Nagaland. Our office in Tuensang is a bright, open‑plan space, stocked with a few comfortable chairs, a clean kitchenette and a whiteboard that always has fresh ideas scribbled on it. Every morning the air smells like fresh coffee and the murmur of people sketching out paperwork. We like to keep things simple, clean and efficient, so you’ll find you don’t have to jump through hoops to get your job done.

What a typical day looks like
The day starts at 10:00 AM with a quick team stand‑up. We discuss yesterday’s trade volumes, any new client requests and today's target of closing three new brokerage agreements. As a Brokerage Executive, you’ll answer calls from local suppliers, visit the market stalls in the small hills around Tuensang to verify quantities, and prepare due‑diligence reports. Every Friday, you’ll help prepare the monthly closing summary that goes straight to our senior investors.

Team culture
We’re a close‑knit squad of seven, including a senior broker, three junior executives (like you), a compliance assistant, and our owner/CEO who rolls up his sleeves every day. We keep the atmosphere friendly, informal and non‑judgmental. There are tea breaks every 90 minutes, and every Monday evening we have a 30‑minute ‘learning hour’ where one of us demonstrates a new software trick or a market trend.

Growth opportunities
When you prove yourself, you can move up to Senior Brokerage Executive, then become a Junior Account Manager or a Field Operations Lead. We invest in internal training, including monthly workshops on local market regulations and real‑time analytics. If you are motivated to learn, we’ll also sponsor you to enroll in a short course on rural finance through the local college in Dimapur.

Responsibilities – real examples
• Client outreach – Call and email 20 prospective clients daily, showcasing how our brokerage can increase their sales margin by up to 12%.\n• Field verification – Visit at least two local farms each week, verify harvest quality against the trader’s promise, and submit a photo‑secured report.\n• Documentation – Maintain a digital ledger in an Excel‑based CRM you’ll be taught, ensuring every transaction is logged within 24 hours.\n• Problem solving – Resolve a broker’s 4‑hour delay in paperwork by coordinating with the office’s legal unit, ensuring the client doesn’t lose a sale.

Tools & equipment
You will receive a company laptop (Windows 11, 16GB RAM), an office phone with auto‑dialer, and a small budget for a vehicle phone charger. For field visits we provide a Honda Motorcycle with a carrier rack to carry sample goods and business cards.

Work environment
Our office is located in a modest three‑storey building whose ground floor hosts the trading desk. The décor is local—a few bamboo wall hangings, a palette of earthy tones and a large window overlooking the serene lamlam hills. We have a shared Wi‑Fi, a small library of investment books and piles of rice and millet sacks hanging in the corner for extra supplies.

We are looking for someone who loves people, values honesty and has a genuine interest in rural markets. If you’re a native of the region or keen to learn about the local economies, you’ll fit right into our rhythm. Come join us and help empower our farmers while you grow your career.
