We are looking for an Executive Sales Representative to join our team in Balangir. What a typical day looks like

  • Morning 8:30 – 9:00: Quick huddle with the sales team at our small office. We share the day’s targets, any new product updates, and a few jokes to keep the mood light.
  • 9:15 – 12:30: Field visits to farms and local markets. You’ll call farmers, show them our seed varieties, and explain how our organic fertilizer can boost yields.
  • 12:30 – 1:30: Lunch break – usually a simple meal at a nearby dhaba. It’s a good time to network with other local businesses.
  • 1:30 – 4:30: Back to the office for follow‑ups, updating the CRM, and preparing sales reports. We use a cloud‑based CRM that syncs with your phone, so you can stay on top of leads even when you’re on the road.
  • 4:30 – 5:00: End‑of‑day wrap‑up. We review what worked, what didn’t, and plan for tomorrow.

Responsibilities (real examples)

  • Generate new leads by visiting at least 10 farms per week and building relationships with farmers and local traders.
  • Maintain a pipeline of at least 30 active prospects in the CRM.
  • Conduct product demos and answer technical questions about seed quality and fertilizer usage.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design flyers and social media posts that resonate with local farmers.
  • Track sales metrics and report weekly progress to the sales manager.

Tools & equipment

You’ll receive a company laptop, a mobile phone with a data plan, and a small toolkit for on‑site demonstrations. We also provide a company vehicle for field visits, but you can use your own car if you prefer.

Environment

Our office is a modest 200 sq. ft. space in the heart of Balangir, with a small break area and a view of the nearby river. The field work is the heart of the job – you’ll spend most of your time outdoors, interacting with farmers and seeing the impact of your sales first‑hand.
