What a Typical Day Looks Like
- Morning arrival: greet kids, check their health, and help them get ready for the day.
- Structured playtime: organize age‑appropriate activities – arts & crafts, story time, and outdoor games.
- Meal & snack supervision: prepare light snacks, ensure kids eat healthy, and maintain cleanliness.
- Learning moments: introduce basic concepts like colors, numbers, and simple songs.
- Evening wrap‑up: tidy up, record daily notes, and hand over to parents.
Team Culture
We’re a close‑knit group of 5 people – a manager, a senior caregiver, and three assistants. We meet every Friday for a quick debrief, share ideas, and celebrate small wins. Everyone’s voice matters, and we value honesty, patience, and a sense of humour. We also have a monthly “Family Day” where parents join us for a picnic and a short workshop on child development.

Responsibilities (Real Examples)
- Help a 4‑year‑old with a puzzle while encouraging problem‑solving skills.

- Prepare a fruit‑based snack for a group of 8 children, following a simple recipe we share.
- Document each child’s mood and progress in our shared Google Sheet.
- Assist in cleaning the playroom, wiping surfaces, and organizing toys.
Tools & Equipment
We use basic tools: a first‑aid kit, a small library of picture books, a set of age‑appropriate toys, and a digital tablet for educational games (with parental permission). You’ll also have access to a kitchen for snack prep and a small office space for paperwork.
